Watauga river fly fishing report.

It’s hard to believe that today is the last day of September! September was an outstanding month on the Watauga river. Small midges on light tippet, with long drag free drifts got it done for us. Light nymph rigs and dry dropper rigs have been the game all month. I can’t wait to see what October holds. Bigger fish will be moving up and feeding in preparation of the spawn. We still have some October dates available. Please feel free to give us a call or send a message if you’re interested in booking a trip or if you’d like more information on our guide service.
