Watauga River Fly Fishing Report

The weather is starting to feel like fall. We got some much needed rain and the temperatures are in the 70’s. If you’ve read our previous fishing reports, you know that small flies, light tippet, and long drag free drifts are key. We’re fishing dry/dropper rigs with small midges and light nymph rigs with small blue winged olive nymphs and midges. Both rigs are working well. October is nearly full. We have some November dates still available. Give us a call if you would like to book a trip.

Tight Lines,

Huck
