Watauga river fly fishing report.

Fall has finally arrived in northeast Tennessee. We’ve been having cool mornings getting up to the upper 70s in the afternoon. Midges are hatching like crazy. So many that the bite has been a little tricky. Good, but tricky. By tricky I mean extremely subtle takes. Long leaders, light tippet, and tiny midges along with long, drag free drifts are the name of the game. Please feel free to give us a call if you’re interested in a fishing trip. October is full, but we have some November and December dates available. I hope to see you on the water

Tight Lines,

Huck
