Watauga river fishing report

Fall is here! The leaves are turning and some are falling. It’s my favorite time of year in east TN. Tiny flies, light tippet, and long drag free drifts are the game. We’re still looking for blue winged olives to get fired up, it won’t be long. Good numbers and some good quality fish are coming to the net on dry droppers and light nymph rigs. We still have some October dates available. Please give us a call or send an email if you would like to book a trip, or if more information about our guide service.

Tight Lines,
