Watauga River Fly Fishing Report

Hello November! Frosty mornings and sunny afternoons are here. The fishing is great! Light nymph rigs and dry/dropper rigs are working well. We are starting to see some more blue winged olives in the afternoons. A bwo emerger pattern has been working great while the fish are rising. I know I sound like a broken record, but it’s the truth..Long leaders, light tippet, tiny midges, and a long drag free drift are key. November is starting to fill, but we still have some dates available. Give us a call if you would like to get out on the water.

Tight Lines,
