Watauga River Fishing Report

The weather has been all over the place this week. It’s in the mid 60s one day and in the teens the next. The good news is, the Watauga river is fed from the bottom of the dam. Meaning the water temps are relatively close all year. The cold weather doesn’t bother the trout. We’ve been having some really good days. Good numbers of fish with some bigger fish as well. November and December are always good months to fish. The weather can be a little hard to predict, but the fishing is definitely worth it. We still have a few November dates open and December has spots available as well. Give us a call if you’d like to get out on the water.

Tight Lines,
